Version 6.9.4

What's New

New Transform Data – Insert Entity

A new Transform Data has been introduced to insert an Entity’s EID field and Period Number into a selected Table.

The Transform Data allows the input of the related Table and Entity Type to be inserted. Available Entities are:

  • Participant
  • Team
  • Territory
  • Product

Subsequently, the EID Field and the Period Field can be selected to indicate the fields for the Entity details. If a Period Field is not defined, then the Period Number is ignored and only the Entity EID is inserted.

If the selected Entity Type is Participant, then an option to insert ‘inactive’ Participants is displayed. By default, this option is unselected, resulting in only active Participants inserted. If selected, then both active and inactive Participants are inserted.

New Transform Data – Update Table

A new Transform Data has been introduced for power Administrators to update one to multiple fields on a selected table.

The new Transform Data allows the following items to be defined to perform a table update:

  • Destination Table: Table to update values into.
  • Reference Table: Table to reference when choosing what values to update into the Destination Table, or to provide Criteria.
  • Set Fields: Field (or fields) to set values in, from either the Destination Table or Reference Table.
  • Criteria: A set of nested and grouped rules to dictate when to set fields

Example:

Set Fields

One to many fields can be updated on the Destination Table by setting a field and a set operation: =, SUM, COUNT, AVG, MIN, MAX, COUNTDISTINCT

Subsequently, a field’s value is selected, with the option of selecting a field from the Destination or Referenced Table, or:

  • Input Value…: User-defined (free text input)
  • Participant EID: User-defined (free text input)
  • Period: Input Period number of running Calculation

Criteria

Nested levels of AND and OR conditions can be defined to filter on the data selected for the table update.

The Criteria function allows Groups to be added to enable nested conditions, where the AND/OR condition can be set for each group.

Rules are added for each conditional field being compared. Similar to the Set Field function, the field’s comparison value can be set to either a field from the Destination or Referenced Table, or:

  • Input Value…: User-defined (free text input)
  • Participant EID: User-defined (free text input)
  • Period: Input Period number of running Calculation

The Rule’s comparison operator can be set to either: =, !=, <, <=,>,>=, IN, IS NULL, IS NOT NULL

Note: Please speak to your Customer Success or Experience Manager if you would like to enable the Update Table Transform Data feature.

Compare and Migrate Transform Data

In continuation to the new Compare and Migrate Transform Data feature delivered last Release, the Quick Formula and ToDate Calculation Transform Data have now been added to the library of enabled objects for migration.
