Copy Dashboard Participant Modules

Administrators now have the ability to copy an existing Dashboard Participant Module by clicking on the ‘Copy’ button at the bottom of the Module.

Note: The previous release (6.6.2) enabled the copy function for all types of Participant Modules except Dashboard Modules. Copy on Dashboard Modules is now included in this release.

Once the “Copy” button is clicked, a copy of referenced Big Numbers, Capsules, Graphs & Reports is also submitted. On display, the Big Numbers, Capsules, Graphs & Reports cannot be edited until the copied Dashboard is added.

NOTE: The copy will not be saved until the “Add” button is clicked.

US Date Format option on Reports and Participant Modules

Administrators now have the option to select the US Date format (MM/DD/YYYY) for date fields referenced on the following objects:

  • Report Builder:
    • Custom Table
    • Ad-hoc
    • Leader Board
  • Participant Modules:
    • Custom Table
    • Request Approval

The date format is applied when viewing the date field on the list view of the data.

In addition, the new date format is also applied to the date fields in a Print, Excel or PDF download from Report or Participant Modules.

Note: Formatted dates within a CSV download from Report or Participant Modules will be in a future release.

Format Date & Time based on System Property

System Property

Two new system properties have been introduced to format date and time fields displayed throughout the system:

  • displayDateFormat – supports the format of:
    • “dd/MM/yyyy”, OR
    • “MM/dd/yyyy”
  • displayTimeFormat – supports the format of:
    • 24 hours: “HH:mm:ss”, OR
    • 12 hours: “hh:mm:ss a”

As part of this release, the following functional areas have been updated to apply the new system properties to format date and time fields displayed:

  • Task Manager
  • Messages
  • Audit Logs

Upcoming releases will include updates to existing functionality to also reference the new system properties.

The new displayDateFormat system properties will eventually replace the existing dateFormat system property, although it will remain in the system until all functional areas are updated to use the new property.

Task Manager

The Due Date field on Tasks is now formatted according to the format defined on the displayDateFormat system property. The format is applied upon editing the date on a Task and on display of the due date in the Task List.

This format is subsequently applied to the referenced Due Date in the Reminder and Notification emails invoked by the Task Manager.

The format is also applied to date fields within the Task List Excel download.

Messages

The Date and Time fields recorded against messages sent by Administrators and Participants are now formatted according to the format defined on the new system properties.

Audit Logs

The Date and Time fields recorded against Audit Logs are now formatted according to the format defined on the new system properties. This includes the following Audit Log pages:

  • Audit Logs:
    • Administrator
    • Info Access
    • Security
    • Job Scheduler
  • Advanced: Login Sessions
  • Calculate: View Jobs

Note: Formatted dates within the Audit Log download will be in a future release

Product Enhancements

1. Enhanced the audit log functionality within the Mobile App to:

  • Record a log upon failed Mobile App logins
  • Record a log upon the user accessing the app after terminating it from background process of iOS
  • Record a log upon the user accessing the app after leaving it in the background for a number of hours

2. Fixed the Mobile App authentication to prevent users from being logged out and redirected back to the login screen when Mobile App has been opened for some time.
