  • Ezidebit is an international company providing direct debit services.
  • It experienced a period of rapid growth, becoming the largest non-bank payment provider in Australia.
  • It has a large sales team servicing thousands of small-to-medium sized businesses in Australia and New Zealand.

The Situation

Ezidebit Australia had a big challenge calculating commissions on a high volume of complex transactions.

  • Ezidebit processes commissions and rebates on millions of transactions each month.
  • The existing system could not calculate dishonor fees or take account of custom payment arrangements.
  • 7 administrators were required to calculate sales commissions each month and payments were delayed until the third week of the month.

Our Approach

Performio provided Ezidebit with an easy-to-use configurable solution

  1. BDMs and Rebate partners were set up as participants in Performio.
  2. A reference table was set up containing specific commission and rebate information required to perform the calculations. This table could be updated any time, while the calculation process stayed automated.
  3. Calculations were set up according to the rules in the commission plan. When data was loaded, calculations were triggered with a single click, producing commissions and rebates reports in half an hour.

Dashboards were created for BDMs and Rebate Partners so they could view their rebates and commissions on any desktop or mobile device.
